Michelin starred restauarants represent the very best in cuisine, but how do they portray themselves online? When the food is this good, do they need a good website?

The Fat Duck
Nestled in the village of Bray, Buckinghamshire, the Fat Duck has an impressive three Michelin stars under the guidance of Heston Blumenthal. Boasting more chefs that dining covers (46 chefs, 42 seats) this restaurant has a cosy charm. The website, is slightly disappointing, although stated undergoing continued development.

The Waterside Inn
Also in the village of Bray, and another of only four 3 Michelin star restaurants in the UK, the Waterside has a functional rather than beautiful website. You can book a table online at their site.
Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester
Within the Dorchester Hotel in London, this restaurant’s web presence is portrayed with stunning photogaphy of the opulent surroundings.
Gordon Ramsay
The last of the 3-stars, this most famous of chef’s stunning restaurant is located in Chelsea, London.
Midsummer House Restaurant
Boasting two stars, this website uses good photography to bump a simple layout.
Le Gavroche
Nice photographs, simple layout for this London-based two Michelin star.

Another addition to the London Restaurant scene, with amazing photography.
Simpsons
One of only three Michelin star restaurants in the second city, (the others are Purnells and Turners), Simpsons website is a little functional but shows of the food and surroundings very well.

Simple website, but with fantastic photography for this London two Michelin star.
The Crown at Whitebrook
Beautifully designed website for this one-star Michelin near Monmouth.
